Press conference: Launching the first public offers of municipal bonds - Singera City Hall and Ceadir-Lunga City Hall

The event will take place on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, starting at 10:00 in the Conference Hall, „Courtyard by Marriott Chisinau”, Arborilor street, no. 21/A, Chisinau.

The bond issue is a premiere both for the town halls in the country and for the domestic capital market. Used successfully in the countries of the region, this financial instrument has remained unexplored, although it has several advantages and opportunities for both sides. On the one side, bonds are a tool for attracting resources at more attractive terms for the issuer and with benefits that go beyond the financial aspect. On the other side, bonds are also an additional investment tool for economic agents and the entire population, especially for those who reside in the locality where the investment project is implemented, benefiting directly from its result. 

 

At the event are invited decision-makers from national authorities responsible of regulating and supervising the financial system, external partners involved in the sector reforms, as well as other relevant institutions in the field.

The working language will be Romanian.
