About us

Expert-Grup is a think-tank specialised in research and consultancy on economic and social policy. We position ourselves as a politically and ideologically neutral analytical centre and do not represent economic, corporate or political interests.

Mission

The organisation's mission is to empower citizens, businesses, media and public authorities to actively contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of the country through independent analysis and consultancy, evidence-based policies and community mobilisation.

Strategic priorities

In pursuit of this mission, Expert-Grup follows 3 strategic priorities:

Conducting independent, evidence-based research, advisory services and analysis across various economic and social fields, with the aim of developing a resilient and inclusive society.

2.

Empowering communities, businesses and media to hold central and local public authorities accountable and to deliver high-quality public and private services and goods.

3.

Providing support to other civil society organisations, particularly at the local level.

Expert-Grup encourages and practises creative and critical thinking. To strengthen the institutional prestige built over the years, we will continue to remain independent of any political or corporate interference.

Our working and research methods are clear and transparent, all sources used in research are cited, and all persons who contribute to research are acknowledged.

Quality and relevance

Our aim is to produce high-quality outputs that meaningfully address current issues relevant to Moldova's development.

Avoiding conflicts of interest

We do not accept contracts that contradict our values or may undermine our independence.

A think-tank's success depends entirely on its human resources. Expert-Grup employs consultants with a high level of expertise in research and advocacy across a range of domains. Our team members hold advanced degrees in economics, law and related fields from top European, American and Moldovan universities and are fluent in Romanian, English, Russian and other languages. Expert-Grup runs a continuous training programme for its staff and offers work and internship opportunities to talented young people eager to begin a career in economic research and public policy.
