Launching event of the project “Civil Society for the European Integration

The launching event aims at presenting the objectives of the Project while underlying the important role the civil society engagement could bring in advancing the Europeanisation agenda. The event will consist of three panels, as follows:

1. Opening remarks by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, representatives of the ministries and donors of the project;
2. Presentation of the Civil Society for the European Integration Project;
3. Presentation and discussion on the Shadow Report nr. 1 on the Action Plan for the implementation of the steps proposed by the European Commission in its Opinion on Moldova’s EU membership application. 

The event will gather high level public authorities, policymakers, the donor community, civil society organizations, opinion leaders, academia, and mass media. To reach a wider audience, the public event will also be broadcast online. For more details, please see the attached agenda and concept.
