MEGA Conference ”Conclusions of the economic year 2019. Economic forecasts for 2020”

Expert-Grup will present the findings of the Moldova Economic Growth Analysis (MEGA) economic report, which analyzes the key macroeconomic and sector-level trends in 2019 and provides forecasts for key economic indicators for 2020-2021. 

Key questions of this edition are:

1. Macroeconomic assessment of 2019 and its implications on the budgetary processes
2. Macroeconomic outlook for 2020: key trends and challenges impacting the public finances
3. Challenges of financing the budgetary deficit in an electoral year
4. Citizens’ participation as a key tool for ensuring efficiency of budgetary spending

High-level representatives of central public authorities, diplomatic missions, donor community and experts will attend the event to discuss the most important developments and prominent economic risks Moldova will face in the short and medium-term.

The event will be held in Romanian and English. Simultaneous translation/interpretation will be provided.
