Hostile Corporate Takeovers in Moldova: Analysis of the Causes in the Legal Framework

In 2010-2011 Moldova has seen an intensification of the attempts of corporate hostile takeovers. In this study, the authors researches the causes of this phenomenon, looks into the relevant international experience that can be useful for Moldova, and makes proposals of amending the legislation in order to prevent reoccurrence of this attempts in the future and legal punishment of the guilty ones.
