Tender for the Selection of Two Translators

The Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” announces a tender to select two companies/individuals to translate the Handbook from English into Romanian and from English into Russian respectively, within the project “Understanding the Association Agreement and the DCFTA between the EU and Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova”. One person will be responsible for translating the entire text into one of the languages: either from English into Romanian, or from English into Russian. The total volume to be translated is 214 standard pages, each of 1,800 characters without spaces.

To take part in the tender, bidders must send the following documents to  iulia@expert-grup.org :

• A personal CV or, in the case of legal entities, the full CV of the translator who will carry out the translation. The CV must include all relevant experience;
• A financial offer showing the total net price and any taxes that may apply (for example:  VAT for companies).

Minimum requirements for bidders:

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in written translation of similar documents at the level of international organisations;
• Understanding of legal, economic and financial terminology (similar experience with such translations);
• Experience in translating European legislation is an advantage

The deadline for submitting offers is 18 July 2016, 10:00 am.
The deadline for completing the translations: 14 August 2016
