Winners of Tulip Business Incubator 3.0 Announced: Five Businesses to Receive EUR 5,000 Grants and Mentoring

This year over 60 applications were received, and 35 young entrepreneurs were selected for training and mentoring on financing, business planning, marketing and financial management. Eleven of them reached the final pitching session before a panel of experts, investors and partners. Adrian Lupușor said competition was strong and differences between projects were often very small.

The winners are Serafima Rusu and Daniela Cucoș (Progressio Development Centre, educational services), Marina Coșneanu (Casa Sobarului, guesthouse), Nadejda Danila (MarturiiDulci.md, bee products), Cristi Melnic (Florado, medicinal and aromatic plants) and Nicolae Vutcariov (Caffe Dolce, local syrups for cafes, bars and pastry shops). Victoria Cociug of ASEM stressed that entrepreneurship can be taught, and Valerian Moraru of the Dutch Embassy praised the courage of Moldovan entrepreneurs. The programme targets entrepreneurs up to 35 years old and combines training, expert mentoring and non-repayable financial support.
